Description
Phillips 66, a leader in specialty synthetic lubricants is currently looking for a reliable Production Associate to work in our Benicia, CA facility. The Production Associate works with a team to operate all packaging equipment in the manufacturing of high quality finished lubricant products in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.
This position is for a day shift, Monday – Friday. Hourly starting pay is $22.37 per hour.
Responsibilities May Include
Accurately and safely operate and adjust all production equipment for a specific production line, filling a variety of containers from 4 oz. to 55 gallons
Lift and stack boxes of bottles, labels, caps, pails, etc. weighing between 10 and 50 lbs.
Maneuver pallets using pallet jacks and forklift
Perform general housekeeping tasks throughout the work area to ensure safe working conditions
Adapt to changes in scheduled production runs due to customer needs, breakdowns, and business needs
Accurately account for all finished product produced and raw materials consumed
Demonstrate Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) due diligence at all times
Perform inventory counting as necessary to ensure accurate raw material inventory
Required Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Willingness and ability to perform and comply with following, with or without reasonable accommodations:
To repetitively lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
To stand up to 2 hours at a time, up to 6-7 hours per day
To climb portable ladders up to 4 steps
To bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling are required to perform tasks
To drive a forklift
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a warehouse
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Being a team player focusing on contributing to the organization and communicating with others
